Posts: 186 Location: Waconia, MN | Had to take a second to plug my buddy Jason's (Kodiak) baits. I have only had the opportunity to throw these 1 day but the results were great! The baits work through the water as beautifully as they look. The okaboji perch bait provided me with my new personal best, and my first 50. Posts: 615 Location: Madison, WI | Beautiful baits...and beautiful fish. Love the profile, little like a phantom. What are the specs? I always have difficulty getting wood to weight out enough to get the sink rate / action of a molded plug. Are these wood? Beautiful work Kodiak...great paint! MS

Posts: 1224 Location: Okoboji | yep wood. if you held them side by side in hand and swam them, the phantom comparison would go away quickly...much fatter, shorter, different shape and run totally different. the chin is the only thing similar and the only reason that is, is because it gives me the lift i want to make it a little erratic when you bang them in quick. they are in the 5.2-5.4oz range

Couldn't have said it better, I will have a hard time putting anything else on the end of my line. The action is amazing and they are quite easy to work.

Posts: 661 Location: Sussex, NJ | Hey Kodiak, instead of calling them Muskie Mulisha Softails you should just call them "Mulisha Men" considering you make them under the name Muskie Mulisha. Just an idea

Posts: 833 | I'll throw in some props for Kodiak's bait. He did two of them for me to use this fall. They look like a Phantom, but that is where the comparison ends. Completely different action. The craftsmanship is second to none, he has really put time into refining his process. I haven't gotten a fish to go on one yet, but it is only a matter of time. Best part about these is you can get them in any color you want, just ask him and he'll do it up for you. I will probably add one of his larger versions to my box this winter.
