Ohhhhhhhhhhh how I'd love to do this!

I used to work for a comapny that had two plants in Galway and I've tipped many a pint at the various pubs. A very friendly, fun city, no doubt.

I never fished there, but we hired a gille (sp?) for one of our cusotmers who was a trout nut and he got some dandies. (North of galway)..Loc Corbe or something like that???

When is the best fishing time?

I will be spending three weeks in Galway for work starting the end of July and would love to try to squeeze this in while I am there.

Would take a little sting off of missing my LOTW trip.

Hey Baldy, take your golf clubs. Some great golf right around Galway. Some of the links courses north of there are stunning, and they're more affordable than their more famous counterparts. God, I loved Galway. What a great city.

having spent a bit of time in Galway i recommend the trip ... we found a beer there back in the day called Smithwicks and had enough of it to name a dog after it when we got home.

ballybunion and lahinch aren't too far away.

great place, great people, crap food and good beer!

Hi,Guys !!!

Best time is all year around spring and fall foe big pig pikes and summer for explosive top water strikes !!!
Unfortunatelly the english version of the website doesn't work (use google translater italian/english),but guide/gillie ,food(real italian cooking),boat, accomodation, pics, lures is included in the rate (to check the rates click on Viaggi).
For more information you can send an email to this email address : [email protected]
They will reply you in English.

Smithwick's beer is marketed outside the Ireland with the name of Kilkenny.
