Anyone know if Thornes extends rod handles? Or anywhere near the Twin Cities for that matter?

Yes, Thornes does it. They do a very good job too. Not expensive either

They have done a few of my rods in the past. The rod shop does good work.

I had 5 rods done @ Thornes about a year ago, I think it was 6.50 per inch. They did an excellent job and the extra length really makes the rods easier for me to use.

Took about 2 weeks for my rods... Just call them and see what their schedule is looking like. you might get lucky and get in and out in 2-3 days too.
