Location: Madison WI | I just got mine in the mail as well, I used one last year on my guide trip and caught 1 of my 3 fish on it. It is a big heavy lure 4 oz's, you can chuck it a mile and its moves a lot of water. Now I just have to wait for the 3 I ordered from Rollie and Helens that and opening day. |

saw the lead wrapped around the front hook of the topraider...what is the reason for that...how did that "change" the bait ? |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Tried one out last Saturday. Runs really nice, great sound, will throw a wake at slow speeds. I see great things from this bait and I see many fish on it in the future. |

| I have a new one too, the bIack one with the lime and orange tail. It’s very well made. It’s big, big body, big blade, but it fits just perfectly in my Lakewood box. I’m looking forward to giving it a workout this year. |

One issue that is common with tail bait or prop bait top water lures is the tendency to roll especially when the lure is retrieved at higher speeds. All of the baits I make are tested, if the bait rolls when retrieved it does not get sold.
