I am wondering what size thread I need to buy for replacing one of the guides on my ST Croix spinning rod I use for walleye? I see they have it listed on the internet as a, b, c, d sizes and I have no idea what they are referring to.

Thanks

Size A is what you're looking for.

B is larger in diameter, C even larger and D even larger.

Size A is the most common thread on freshwater rods.

D is most common on heavier saltwater rods.
