Location: Eagle Lake Vermilion Bay, Ontario | Musky fishing has been good we have seen better this time of the season but a lot of fish averaging 42-49 inches lately. Only 2 fish last week over 50 inches, Dad Dunnets 52 1/2 incher and Swengels 50 1/2 incher, both muskies were their first 50 inchers so congrats to both of them!
Plenty of big muskies moving and on and off, but we are expecting and looking for much more and better muskies coming up like we are used to at this time of the season. We have got warm, actually hot water temps for our part of the country with hot, flat weather with evening lightening storms and soon as it straightens out and water cools down a bit look out, the big girls will be coming to the dance.
We are looking for an awesome late August and fantastic September/October bite, setting things up for a good late Summer and Fall bite after two cold summers in a row.
