Scholars maintain that the true origins of the weagle were lost hundreds of years ago....

Posts: 1425 Location: St. Lawrence River | Kuhly - 5/17/2010 8:15 PM When we found it 3 hours later He kept it. Planning on doing something with the head. Anyone have any ideas why this fish would have been so unhealthy? We thought maybe it had a parasite, swallowed a hook, or was just plain old. Ruled out spawning since it was a tiger. The rest of the the fish we saw and were caught by other boats were thick and healthy. I dont know but I caught a northern through the ice this winter with very similar traits. Big head, long skinny sickly looking body. I never realy figured it out...heres the pic Attachments ---------------- SICKLY PIKE.jpg (53KB - 72 downloads)

Maybe its the way you are holding the fish. But it does not look sick to me. Just not a winter fattie. nice fish.
