Heading out to fish Little Green for the first time, I am excited and looking forward to testing some windy day tactics.

Me and my friend went out there last friday. Crazy day. we raised 14, mostly on tails, along the steep shoreline, as the wind was pounding into it. Good luck!

There is an incredible amount of small perch in the lake this year.

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs
Small perch are the usual (though maybe in greater numbers NOW) forage base out on L.Green. I havent been up there in a few years but in the past we found that perch-patterned baits from 4-7" seemed to be the key. Ie. depthraiders, crains, etc.

Got my first LEGAL on L.Green about 12 years ago on a perch depthraider!

They really liked the perch Swimmin Joe 2 years ago when we visited. I broke the lip half way off in the net and fish were still chasing the thing...

Good luck at l green I was there last year and had no luck we raised one ski and cought a couple of pike. We went late July hot!! Talked to many people and it was a bad weekend no one was seeing anything. Thought we could tie into a tiger!! There is a bar on the lake cant remember the name but they have a couple of nice tigers hanging. That will get you pumped up.
