Are their any adjustments to increase the tension on the baitclicker? For example, while dragging a lazy 9 inch sucker with a 1/2 oz sinker, line will quite often pay out on its own from just the weight of the sucker and sinker. My buddy has the same reel and does not have this problem while we are fishing in the same boat at the same time! The spool tension knob doesn't seem to help. How about adjusting the internal clutch adjustment. Or is that just for casting? The reel is brand new. Thanks, Ken

The one thing that I like to do on occasion is rather than using the tension knob use the drag set extremely lose. Once you get to your rod when a fish has your sucker you have to tighten down the drag a ton but that should solve your problem.
