Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Looks like this may just be the last weekend up in Land O Lakes for smaller waters. I've been hearing 1/2" and skim ice on alot of smaller lakes and with temps in the low 30's and upper 20's for highs, it won't be long. Where you headed? Palmer/Tenderfoot for me. I have a pier in yet.

Posts: 1055 Location: Medford, WI | Headed up towards Eagle River or Minocqua...not really sure yet. Kind of waiting to see if I can find any info about the cisco-spawn. (If anyone has any info, I would greatly appreciate it) We'll be camping, as usual, so I'm preparing for a pretttty cool weekend. Good luck to everyone that gets out! -Jake Bucki

Mike Witowski Let us know how they work. I'm guessing the hooks will stab into those tails every other cast. I have used the Medusa a little bit this fall and the hooks do not stab the tails barely at all. I think it only happened once or twice. I didn't throw it all day, but threw it enough to see it worked well. Edited by GOTONE 11/14/2008 1:47 PM

Posts: 371 Location: Dixon, IL | If I am up north then I would fish a large & deep lake like Trout, North Twin or Lac Courte Oreilles for big fish! Row trolling and sucker fishing! I am sure that Tom Gelb is somewhere out there row trolling until end of the season! Lets see if he can make the largest musky in Wisconsin for 3 years in a row...we will find out!

Posts: 434 Location: searchin for 50 | Heading out to a local pond this morning for probably my last trip out this year for the southern part of the state. If we get a couple of deer next weekend might be a different story.

Location: Des Moines IA | Headed to the beautiful Fox Chain in the morning. Weatherman says it'll be a high of 37 degrees tomorrow. I see the possibility of a coffeemaker in the boat tomorrow!.

Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | We got on Pewaukee for a few hours today, and got to test the prototype 10" Slammers with the trapezoid lips. The fish liked them. We boated a 41", 36.5", and a 34"er. Had two others on and saw another 8. Water temps were lower 40's. The season is ending too soon! Edited by Steve Van Lieshout 11/14/2008 6:27 PM

...and be on the lookout for a rutting buck. is "be on the lookout" a euphemism for "sleep in a tree"? today was dedicated to raking the lawn and bagging up entirely too many leaves. Sunday morning we're going to drag some suckers around the local pond until the start of the Packers/Bears game which will find me in the Laz-e-boy...
