Ok, my only question is: what rod is Mark throwing that Pounder on??? A flagpole?

OK so I wrote a little function to allow posting of YouTube vids right in the board if you are registered. I'll leave it on and see how it goes. Just cut and paste the embed code from YouTube into the post.

Should I create a separate section of the site where people can post their own google and YouTube vids? Is it something people want? If so give me 2 hours and I'll have it done. Lemme know what you think.

A video section would be a great new addition to the site for sure!! Great video and awesome fish!!

On your question to the rod used for the pounder, unsure on the one that is being used in the video, but right now my guess are most rods are customs for this application. But next season, St. Croix will have a rod specifically for the big pounder. Will be in the premier series and called the XXX. Also, I do believe Musky Innovations will have a rod out as well?

You dont need a super huge rod to throw a pounder although it does help quite a bit. I know ulbian tosses one around and he uses an 8 foot XH maybe? I throw my snax baits on a 7 foot XH and the snax baits i have weigh more than a pounder does, and make a heck of a bigger splash!

By the way, we do have a video section onsite already for clips OutdoorsFIRST shoots. The Muskie section is here:
http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/muskievideo.asp

We also have a pretty good archive of Ice and Walleye videos.
