Location: West Virginia
Heading there next weekend. First trip on the cave. Anybody have any advice as far as what parts of the lake are the best to fish in early October.

Well, about any of the coves are good: Caney, Buck, Leatherwood, Warix, you name it. 10' and in. There's Zilpo flats as well. You can't miss it because there will be 25 boats out there, but still a good place, although a little tougher to fish this year due to the lack of weed growth. If you're in one of these spots, you'll be doing good. The main thing is to hope you have favorable conditions. The Cave, like anywhere else, can be a tough place to fish on bad days. Good luck
