Hey can anyone help me with any fishing regulations for the Lake Nippissing area. The folks at the lodge my parents are staying at is that it's under Section 15 of the Regulations. Now I've searched and searched...can somebody help me.

What lodge are they staying at? Most of Nipissing and the Upper French River are Division 27. If they are staying on the West Arm section of Nipissing (Division 15) the regulations regarding muskie are as follows:

Division 15 - Opens 1st Saturday in June
Sportsmans License- (1) in one day
Conservation License-(0)
Minimum Length- 36"

The rest of the Nipissing Watershed including the Upper French River are as follows:

Division 27 - Opens 3rd Saturday in June
Sportsmans License- (1) in one day
Conservation License- (0)
Minimum Lenght- 36"

Note: New regulations will be in place for the 2007 season including higher minimum length limits.
