| Will be up at my parent's place on Petenwell this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions as to what type of fishing is productive this time of year? Looking at a map, looks like up river near Devils Elbow has a lot of good slop and so does the south east corner of the lake. Thinking depending on wind, mid lake fishing may be tough with boat control (16' aluminum boat). Big lake...any direction would be appreciated! |

Location: oswego, il | When you say what type of fishing, you mean species? The lake will be bloomed. Walleye, crappie, whitebass will he good. Vertical jig bottom bouncers. Remove the wire below the weight so it bangs and pounds the bottom. Short leader, put a small shiner minnow hook mayne a stinger if they hit short. Doesn't even need to he alive. Easy peasy.

| Devil's Elbow is a fishy area. The river channel on the Flowage is kinda crazy--constantly making big S turns. Lots of carp out there. |

Location: north central wisconsin | Sorry, wish I'd seen this sooner. With the rains, and cool, fish pushed shallow of late. Not a lot in the creeks with the cooldown, but shore attached wood on the dinner table shelves showed fish this weekend. Let us know how your trip went. |
