Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I know it's not a trout forum but this is the most active online forum I've ever found and I'm sure someone has some input or suggestions.
I will be in crystal falls in august, mostly walleye and muskie fishing but I've always wanted to try and catch some real trout (not these farm raised illinois stockers I catch for supper) and do it with a fly rod. I'm looking for a place that is near crystal falls and I would prefer to fish a small stream or creek rather than a big river. I'm not looking to catch any giant trout but I just want to have some fun and hopefully catch a few on the fly. If I catch any they will all be realesed quickly and unharmed. If anyone has any tips or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
I know some people like to keep there trout streams as much of a secret as possible so if you'd rather pm me that's also great.
