I don't fish Tonka much but noticed the milfoil seems to be dialed back from a few years ago. do they mow it more or has it somehow died off a bit?

I think the late spring set growth back quite a bit. We haven't noticed the sheer walls in 25' of water like we saw last year.

A lot of sand on the lake too, which milfoil doesn't do well in.

Noticed it down there though about 8' tall or so making its way to the top in about 25'

The milfoil has definitely been going backwards in Tonka the last 3 or 4 seasons. I've wondered why its disappearing myself. Zeebs suffocating it? Who knows.

The state introduced a water weevil that feeds on milfoil into Minnetonka.

Zeebs and milfoil leaving because property taxes are too high,,if you live in Hennepin county then you know they found a way to tax em.
