Anyone know of a way to stabilize your trolling motor so it doesn't shake/vibrate when it's running? I don't know why mine is doing this. I'm not talking about when it's stowed.

I mean it's slight but it's kinda obvious and I'm afraid it's going to spook fish. The shaft and motor head just kinda shake when it's running especially above speeds of 3 or 4. It's a Terrova.

Exact thing happened to my Terrova. Vibration and noise above 3-4. Will Schultz turned me on to replacing the steering housing and it works like a charm. I think it's a bearing that goes in the housing.

I just bought a brand new 2017/2018 terrova and the first time i took it out on the river it seemed very noisy and i did notice some vibrating like what you said above speeds of 3 or 4. I exchanged it for a different one and going to test it this weekend. I am hoping this one works better.
