Picked up a new frabil power catch net. Bag is extremely stiff. Is there a quicker way to break in and loosen it up other that using it.

I stuffed a bigger cooler in mine and let it hang out in the sun when I first got it. Seemed to help some, but overall it seems like just using it loosened it up over time. I don't recall it staying terribly rigid for long.

I would take the bag off, ball it up and kneed it like a ball of dough maybe put it in a bag and slug it with a bat or drive over it in the yard

i noticed that alot of the corners of the netting squares on mine were webbed together with the rubber coating. i pulled them apart on every one and now its way more flexible.

I've found that there just is no good place for the net other than the floor of the boat. Once you've walked all over it for a week or so it should loosen up just fine. Mine did.

Warm sunlight, warm water, and a couple fish.

Try putting it in a dryer with a couple of old towels. Just don't turn the heat up too high. Low heat is fine.

Might want to take the bag off the hoop first...
