Got the good news today that the place we're planning to stay in Marco this winter fared the hurricane pretty well and will be ready to go when we get there in February. I'm hoping to book a 1/2 day trip out of Goodland to take my dad and two teenage sons fishing while we're down there. Does anyone have experience with a good guide capable of taking a party of four out? Species is less a consideration than getting the boys on fish. The guides I've talked to so far are all 1 or 2 clients in a boat operations. Thanks.

I used caloosahatcheecowboy.com a couple of years ago and was more than impressed with Josh. He grew up in the area and is more of a casting guy than sit and chum. If he can't accommodate he will tell you who to get in contact with.

SFP Fishing OutFitters... Marco Island, 10,000 island and Everglades is their home waters and will put your boys on Tarpon or any other species inshore you want. Give them a call...been fishing with them many years now and they never fail to put me on fish. Best in the County...hands down.

Book a whole day and split it into two trips... dad and one son then you and the other son...make it a contest for bragging rites...draw lots to select teams...much better fishing time in the boat with only two of your group...not the bonding with the whole family, but still fun...
