What is your go-to re-paint color/pattern when you've got a lure that won't produce?

I've had good luck with black on surface baits and black bars on cranks.

What do you do?

Cant go wrong with black. If it doesn't work after you repaint it then color probably wasn't the reason for it not working in the first place. IMO
