Hi all,  Here's a new jerkbait I’ve been developing, and as usual it has my daughters namesake.  It is a dive-n-rise with wiggle on a strait crank.  They are 11" and 14", 6oz and 10oz respectively.  It is a solid resin bait with through wire construction.  You’ll notice in the unpainted picture that I’m doing a two-step pour process.  The first pour (black color) is a cast urethane filled with tungsten and wollastonite.  This gives me the weight where I need it and strength for resisting bashing off rocks.  The second backfilling pour is a foam resin for buoyancy.  It has internal rattles that I affix to the wire shaft before molding.  There are threaded inserts on the bottom to use a weight system if desired.  I also had some custom tails laser cut for this one.  The tails are a little thicker and have a bit more control surface than the off the shelf ones.  These are the first prototypes that have full epoxy coats.  I’ve been having some fun with this one, one of the paint jobs is supposed to be a whale shark lol.  I have a buddy who is wanting a bullhead with wiskers – that should be cool.  I don’t have many other specs at this time because it is still in development.

this!

I will say...If you could provide a pillow with that 10oz, 14" bait for us older folks that need a nap after a couple dozen casts, that would be great.

Very cool as always. Nose is unique only Bobbie baits /smitty have one like that I have seen. Any reason you chose that?

I haven't made one like that before and wanted to figure them out. Plus I think it looks cool lol.  There are many baits that have open mouths.  Usually they are called a "darter" style - hence the baits name Molly Darter

Thank you all for the kind words!  Much appreciated
