Posts: 1901 Location: MN | Just drove by, they don't have price posted on sign and we didn't stop as we need to get on the water and head across. We can maybe stop on our way out on Wed if that will help you any.

Posts: 291 Location: Madison, WI | If your staying in Morson, why not just bring it across the border. This year we brought over 50 gallons and hauled it out to Tamarack, covered our entire week of running. If your driving in and staying at Morson why not. 5 gallon cans are cheap.

Posts: 759 Location: Ames, Iowa | That seems like a lot of gas to be haulin around in the back of the pick up. To save a buck a gallon, I'd keep the 10 gas cans at home and buy from the resort owner. Folks must think it bothers the resort owners cause when I see someone filling the boat they are doing it away from the docks because they don't want to be seen. Have seen that many many times. I'm not well off by any means, but I buy $3.99 gas at the dock vs $2.95 in town. If I pull out and drive to another lake I can get gas in town.

Posts: 1516 | A lot of camps/resorts do not allow guests to bring gas with them other than what the boat gas tank holds.

Posts: 67 | I guess if someplace is going to have a problem with you bringing in your own gas I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. That's one of the main reasons why we go where we go up there. Kind of stupid to spend more on cash than you spend on cabin/camping but to each their own.

Posts: 129 Location: North Metro - Twin Cities | Todd who owns Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge has no problem with his guests bringing in their own gas and actually encouraged me to do it on future trips. Most of the veteran muskie guests brought their own gas when I was in camp last year and I will hauling in as much as needed in a few weeks. Checking with camp owners prior to you trip would be a good idea.

Posts: 291 Location: Madison, WI | Chris was up there with his son last year when we were there. I think we had 12 cans. Todd is great because he understands that some of us just cant swing 7 or 8 bucks a gallon out on the island especially when we are running and he only has it on the island as a service to his guests. He doesn't have it out there to make money. We appreciate that he lets us bring ours across.

Posts: 52 | We have gas, just pumping by hand until we get our new setup. It was supposed to be all set up by July, however we had some logistical issues, and are now planning on having it all set up next spring. We have moved about 5000 gallons by hand this year. It gives my youngest something to do everyday. Thanks all for the endorsements, we sure do appreciate your business! Todd
