I have a few questions for anyone with the know-how on how to fish this bait.

What is the intended action first of all. Is it a dive/rise like a Suick or is it more like a Reef Hawg or glider action?

What (if any) kind of leader do you use?

What kind of action - sort taps, long pulls, etc. do you impart. Is there a right and wrong way to fish it?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely more like a Reef Hawg.

My personal preference for leaders are the piano wire leaders that are designed for jerk bait fishing. I use leaders made by Stealth Tackle.

A medium retrieve with taps and pauses works best. You'll know if you're working them too fast if it keeps popping out of the water. You want them to remain below the surface at all times.

This is a good video on how to use the smaller version by the guy who invented the bait.

Cool bait.

Watching the vid., the same old question about baits imitating prey pops up into my mind again - what sort of fish/prey is ORANGE?????

Serves to remind myself that it's not all about imitating a baitfish... Food for thought but some likely knew this all along, after all they ARE muskies!! They humble me!!
