It's spring in muskie country and everyone is gearing up for the new season. Anyone get a new boat this year or perform any boat upgrades over the winter? Would love to see some pictures of everyone's rig.

I posted this allot 2 months ago but got me a new used boat for upcoming season... bought a 1998 Ranger R93 not exactly musky boat but does the trick unbelievably stable and will hold any rod under 8ft 3inch so fits my needs well...plus I like fishing from the bass style boats like being right on water on front deck makes figure 8 a breeze and couldnt pass this thing up for the Price was actually shocked I got the boat....I called 1030am day it posted and dude tells me Im the 9th calller in line to see the boat and im thinking he gonna pull this add and raise price.. He was asking 10k which I think was way too low after searching for boats for months and seeing other prices on similiar style boats....Offered him $500 over asking to be first to look at the boat and rest is history....loving it ever since have had out about 8 times already will do about 65mph which is too much for waters I fish anyways but nice to know you can get up and out if need be...

I re-powered. New F-200 Yamaha, Skeeter is good for another 3 years. Good glass boats can really take some abuse. Other additions include a trolling mast and big boards, and a steering knob.

Cheers and hook-sets!

Bought a brand new Impact 1775. Certainly nicer than my previous boat, a 1987 Lund renegade.

I went to CSU, love Fort Collins. We have a summer place near Mille Lacs, heading up June 1st. I'll have to try Hagler, thanks for the tip!

We definitely aren't that young, lol. We raised 6 kids and are now empty nesters. And it's really nice that she likes muskie fishing as much as I do.

Prob a diesel. Nicolaus Bauer pulls his bay boat with a diesel VW all the time. Pontoon is probably towed a couple times a year if you think about it.

That def not a diesel... VW dont have diesels for sale right now with the scandal that thing either a 4 banger turbo or has the V6 in it...hopefully the latter pulling that boat...

Didn't get a new boat but did get a new tow vehicle. Takes me awhile to get to the lake but I can launch pretty much anywhere I choose!

Yeah 3.6l V6. Pulls nicely

Pontoons are light, I think the whole package is around 3700lbs

Tuesday of the week of Thanksgiving 2016 my parents had a fire in their garage at their house. Our 2007 620 VS was in that garage, of which also caught fire. They saved the house and no one was injured. Everything was only material but we had to get another boat. So we ordered the identical model 10 years newer. a 2017 620 FS. The only upgrades to the new one over the old one, other than being 10 years newer was the new Terrova 112 I-Pilot, HDS touch screen units (a 12 and 2 9's) and a 250 Pro Verado from a 225. Pictures are attached.
