Location: Madison, WI | Building a deck extension for my 175 Navigator out of cedar and marine plywood. It's not permanent and can be removed. I may also extend the side out to make it better for 3 guys and have some leftover green treated 4x4s that I was gonna use up but wasn't sure if the chemicals in the wood would cause any issue. The green treated wood would only be in the boat for a week in Canada and is not a permanent fixture. Any worries? At no point would the wood be in contact with aluminum, just sit on the carpet. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | For the cost of a few sticks of wood I wouldn't. The brown is supposed to be OK but as a friend that owns a lumberyard said I wouldn't test it with my Lund |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I built one years ago just using carpeted plywood and for legs I used iron pipe mounted to the plywood with floor flanges. The legs had rubber caps . It was strong light and could be disassembled when not in use and a lot of gear could be stored under it. |
