Posts: 897 | I have no idea how or why but the passenger side glass on my 621 shattered today as I was trailering it home from a buddy's where it was stored. Anyone dealt with this before? I have insurance and sent my agent an email already with pics. Gonna call Ranger on Monday. Just can't understand why or how it happened. It happened while driving maybe 40 mph on tar, in the first three miles of the drive. Thoughts?

Posts: 897 | That's possible, of course, but the speeds, road conditions, and the extent to which it shattered makes that seem unlikely to me. Anyone ever had to get their glass windshield fixed? Wondering what I'm getting into.

They do not sell the curved sections individually.

Posts: 897 | Spoke with Ranger this morning. They do sell the sections individually, but not just the glass. I have to replace the entire port side section of windshield. $440 plus shipping and install if I have someone do it.

I use a Truxedo windshield protector when I tow without the boat cover to protect the windshield. I am not sure if they still make them but they work really well if you can find one.
