Location: Central Wisconsin | I know this was discussed not too long ago, but I'm unable to find it going back to 2012. I figured enough has changed to warrant not going back any further.
I recently lost use of my phone when it got wet wading for muskies, and I wasn't overly impressed with the Wunderground app that I had on my old phone. I would be watching an approaching storm, and I'd be unable to update it (even with Wifi) for several minutes.
What is everyone's favorite weather app, and why do you like it??

Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | Try "storm" it's very easy to use and it seems to be very accurate (at least to me). It's free so give it a try. |

Location: Vilas County, WI | WeatherBug; I find it to be fairly accurate. (I only have limited experience with the other apps suggested above). I have many 'favorite' locations saved.
I also like that I can change my radar settings... for example I can set it to traditional radar, storm tracker (so it has the path boxes where its going to be really bad), lightning tracker, alert areas, etc. I'm guessing the other apps do something similar too.
One other thing I learned about weather. Prior to a trip or outing I would meticulously watch the forecast and it would drive my nuts how it was always changing. A forecast increases in accuracy significantly once you're inside of 72 hours. Outside of that window they're only around 25% accurate. So now I don't beat myself up over the weather until I get in the window.

RadarScope for radar.
NOAA Weather for forecast.
Blitzortung for lightning.
Dark Sky is cool too. |

Location: Wisconsin | RadarScope is the best, you can pay for the upgrade and get a ton of features including lightning and storm tracks. However, if you fish Vilas county at all it's a pain to toggle from Duluth to Marquette's radar sites so I use the below that combines and expands the area.
PYKL3 is also a good radar app that has tons of features
NOAA Weather and wX are some of the better ones for forcasts. wX is more feature rich including prog charts from NOAA.
Windy and Windfinder for wind
Surfing Lakes is good for getting wave information for the great lakes if you need that. |

Location: oswego, il | I have NOAA too. I you fish big water like lake michigan or lsc, your trips are completely weather dependant on whether you you ars fishing or staring at the lake. Having several apps, cross referencing well ahead and checking frequently to seenif the trip is stillbpossible is key. |

| Will be in Osborn Bay, Eagle Lake for a week starting 9-17. Does anyone know if any of the weather apps identified here are "accessible" on Eagle Lake and if so, which ones.

Location: Northern Illinois | I use the WGN weather app all over the country and it works great. It works in Canada as well. The issue in Canada of course is connectivity. NOAA is also good and Windy for wind when I'm on the great lakes. |
