are there any complaints with these? do they fall off or break? i would be using these while casting.

I've never used them personally, but if it's lead I wouldn't worry about them cracking. Lead is generally a pliable material and will bend or get a dent in it before it cracks. The paint might chip off but I don't think you will have a problem with the actual lead cracking.

I haven't used them myself but one of my buddies uses those on Medussas without any issues.
