If anyone has been on Vermilion (and I'm guessing lots of other lakes) often times during the summer months there will be giant schools of Cisco feeding on the surface. Does anyone know what specific bug or hatch they are feeding on? Thanks.

Seen them jumping out of the water away from predators over open water during the summer on vermillion.
