I have only been sucker fishing 1 time and did not get anything to go. but after that eve I realizied that the sucker is always holding the rod

I have done some sucker fishing by the Fire at Spring Bay and had good results

How fast do you all typically move your boat when sucker fishing? I've typically moved along about .5 MPH but recently talked to someone who does well and moves along at 1MPH or a bit faster.

I usually move in the .5 range. Any faster and it seems the sucker is basically just dragging. I like it to swim around a bit.
