| Steve W, I recall you posting some time ago about dave snoddy making you a custom snodlo flaptail with top mounted hooks to enable slop fishing. If you still have the lure would you please post pic of it? Or anyone else with a solution to weedless flaptail fishing. Thanks |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I'm not where I can look for it, but remember how he did it. Two big single trailer (spinner bait trailer hook, larger eye) hooks screwed into the top of the lure fitted into a 'slot' he cut on top of the lure. |

| Gotcha. Want to try that on one of my flaptail lures for weedy lake i am fishing next week. Want to get the balance right. If you wouldn't mind digging it out and posting pic it might help me do that. Thanks, Steve. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I looked around and can't locate the lure. It was just two spinnerbait trailer hooks in the top, screwed and epoxied in. Ran really well. |
