Posts: 1828 | Got out for the afternoon/evening last night. Tough fishing til I started moving them a bit deeper than usual on a mag bulldawg. One ate but I missed it. For some reason after finally seeing a few fish, we switched over to crappies and caught about 40 (small) in less than an hour, then back to muskies after sunset. I caught one (38) boatside on a weagle, and my brother in law missed another slightly bigger one twice. First on the weagle, then switched to hawg wobbler and missed it again. Zero action on bucktails though one of us was throwing one much of the time. Northern MN, water temp 77 - 78. Edited by jaultman 7/25/2016 9:42 AM

Posts: 1126 Location: Minnesota. | Slamr - 7/25/2016 9:10 AM Was up on the V, fun times, tough fishing. How did everyone do over the weekend? Me too, for 3 full weeks. One fish with a couple very near misses. Tough time but some larger walleyes took the edge of a bit. But not much. I really wasn't after walleyes, dammit.... Ran into "Bucknuts" out on a bar and we "exchanged words"...in a good way! Nice to run into ya John!!! Edited by Jeremy 7/26/2016 1:25 PM

Posts: 134 | Was on Mille Lacs, first time 4 days saw 3 fish 3'er, 40"er, 4'er, none really had any interest, 78deg water temp. terribly slow, fish had no interest in what we were offering(which was the whole tackle box) Fished Tonka on the way home raised a couple had one bite a dawg, missed it and screwed up the 8(somehow?) Boat traffic was insane, water low 80's
