Muskie fishing on Mille lacs for the first time next week....South East side....

Looking for any helpful advice on what techniques seem to work well there? casting/trolling?

Thanks!

Any new updates? I'll be fishing Friday-Monday for the holiday weekend. Staying on the south side of the lake.

Was thinking about fishing Vineland and Sunset bay. Any lure suggestions? Depth?

I've been up there twice in last three weeks. Saw 8 fish between the two trips and had two hookups. One giant last weekend before storms hit. Guesstimate would be 52"-55". Hooks popped as I was gonna net it. Fish are relating to deep inside corners of rock points and deep edges of cabbage from what I've observed. 12-20 feet is what's shown fish lately. Weed spots I've been planting the boat on top of edges in 6-8 feet and casting out to deeper water. Won't be back for a few weeks but if this info helps someone... Cool with me.
