Posts: 574 Location: Elk Grove Village, IL & Phillips, WI | Up in Price County Wisconsin. we were catching quite a few bass and pike in the skinny water. My son managed to catch a 35 inch musky off the pier on a weedless spoon. That was a nice birthday surprise for him

Posts: 20181 Location: oswego, il | 7 follows (too bad I was not in a tournament) . 12 follows total. All lazy. Indiana Temps are about 10 degrees below normal. Bass and gills are on the beds. Had 3 nice fish up two at the end of the day. Had one turn sideways to the tube I was throwing but all fish just lethargic. Played around with the monster tube, it's a slow presentation, not in my wheelhouse but I made it do some cool tricks where I really think it could be the ticket on tough days. Not a search bait or one that will work of you cannot creep the boat at a snails pace but I found a place for it. Edited by ToddM 5/23/2016 10:01 AM

Posts: 688 Location: Already Gone | I had a very good early bite Saturday morning on the Fox Chain's Catherine. Good moon, Found the water temps at 62, I fished the shallow edges and did well. Stark contrast from last Sunday. Weed mats are forming quick. Once the strong sun got up, things quieted down for me as I expected. A really nice day to be out. I would expect this week to be good also.

Posts: 49 | I had a rough time Thursday and Friday, had to work hard Thursday but managed to see 2 folos with one coming in on a slow retrieve and one coming in on a super fast retrieve... Friday was even tougher took me 6 hrs to finally see a fish. None in the net but im still learning alot and trying to put it all together, only been fishing musky heavy for 3 years. Southeast Wisconsin talking to others sounded like everyone was having a rough go

Posts: 470 | What a crap weekend! Didn't see a fish, no follows, no hits, didn't move a thing. But then I was working and didn't get out... Maybe next weekend. RandalB

Posts: 1316 Location: Madison, WI | Did a Bass Tourney on Pewaukee on sunday. Big bass were on beds some others mixed in the weeds. Lots of reports of bigger muskies in the shallow sunning themselves some others following off of blade baits coming from 5-8ft with mixed weeds. Water temps ranged from 60 in the basin to 66 in the shallower bays.
