Posts: 11 | Hi, Will be taking my boys for our annual family trip. When things get tough for Muskie- would like to take them somewhere to fight pike until their arms are tired. Small pike are fine- won't be keeping any. Looking for a place they can tie on a mepps and be rewarded. Suggestions? Edited by Readforxboxguy 7/26/2016 7:32 PM

Posts: 33 Location: St. Germain, WI | Hi, Big St. Germain is great for that, huge weedbeds full of pike. Plus you can bomb out off the break lines from the same position. Are you staying on the ERC or on some other lake? Joe

Posts: 11 | Lake Content- good call. Forgot about that one since it winter killed but suppose it is just fine. I am not on the ERC. I am on the Wi River and can get to ERC via a long- boat ride through a maze of channels that remind me of the Everglades.. There are pike in the river but some years we catch big numbers and some years struggle to get bit. Thanks for the feedback so far.

Posts: 1023 | Most every lake up there is loaded with pike. Should be an easy thing to find. Try those little spinners, try bass spinners is the weeds are heavy, if on the weed edges, use jigs and minnows. Could pick up some eyes or crappies using minnows, you never know. Good luck.

Posts: 300 Location: Minocqua, WI | Mann completely winterkilled in 2015. It's too bad but good news is an aeration system is getting installed there, I believe next year.

Posts: 11 | Heard trash talk between the boys-15 and 17. They will be fishing against each other on Lake Content. Each boy will have his own 14 footer with a trolling motor. 3 hours- total inches of fish. Only lures. Should be fun to watch. No money prize needed in this one. Thanks for the feedback.
