I'm in the market for three new batteries for my 36v terrova. Are the group 31 batteries a much better choice than the group 29? I'm just curious if the 31's provide enough advantages to choose them. Thanks

Make sure they'll fit first, also they typically weigh ~ 70lbs each.

Bigger is always better -ask the girls! LOL...........

Have fun!

Compare reserve capacity, not necessary group size.

Go to Walmart... Learned my lesson of a vs b, for an extra $200 for a set!

if you are close to a Blains Farm and Fleet their Duration AGMs are great batteries... no maintenance, ever. I have them in 2 boats, many of my buds use them all with positive reviews

I have 3 group 27 Cabelas AGMs to power my 101# Terrova, and in two years of use, I have yet to fun low on power.

That said, if you have room and weight isn't a problem, bigger doesn't hurt.

Okay..admitting my ignorance here because I don't know the difference but can a guy use the "AGM's" for a cranking/2 HDS units - without issues?

Don't know the diff. between these and my more typical Interstate 24M-XHD battery I use now. It takes topping off w/ water. I "think" this battery may be a tad too small??

Thanks for any input.

Yes you can use AGM batteries for cranking and powering graphs live wells etc.
AGMs are sealed and they have about twice the life expectancy of standard lead acid batteries. They also cost about twice as much.
