Thinking about heading down to Kinkaid in a couple weeks,( March 11-13 ) curious on any input on water temps, water clarity, and water level? I also hope to catch some of that 17th street BBQ and a Dunkel. Great Southern Hospitality and a fun lake to fish!! Thanks for any input!!

If you figure something out let me know, that place has kicked my but for the last 4 years. I do however hold my own with the brisket at 17th st. ?

water temp is in the low to mid 40's. Low visibility and will be worse after the projected heavy rains Tuesday.

Hard to beat an evening at 17th street. Hawk thanks for the input, yeah I see about 2" of rain in the forecast for next week, trying to balance weather 8 hours one way drive is justifiable for a full day on Saturday and 1/2 day on sunday. I got the itch, so it may be fishing chocolate milk again!!
