From what I have seen, there is no one silver bullet at any time of the year.

Then you need to start throwing Dadsons !

Justin, so you use live bait for saltwater fish but think live bait for muskies is somehow cheating? huh, interesting!

Yes we use live bait as teasers/no hook... the goal is to get the fish close enough to the boat to present a fly.. the ole "bait and switch" ..Marlin on the fly crazy!!! When we want to cheat because they are refusing the fly we put a hook in the bait... have caught dozens of 150lb + on live bait...now I rarely do that - not a challenge

Here's a challenge.

Take the salt stuff to a salt site.

Now back to the original question, please.

Drag the largest sucker you can find off the deep edge of remaining green weeds, while throwing a slow deep crank. My largest came off a deep edge on a 22" sucker.

Sheesh.. you live bait guys need to pull your undies out of the depths.
My comment was just "tongue in Cheek" Whooo.... Ok, it's Work..... But not really...Casting a heavy lure every 30 seconds is A LOT more work than Sitting on your Butt and waiting for your Sucker to get bit.
Hello ?

Best bucket of chicken: I suppose that would depend where you are regionally. Are we talking about national chain or are we wanting to support local businesses with our purchase?

Only from the enclosed heated cab of my boat. I once thought about toughing those elements but no one makes goretex sweatpants. I broast my own chicken right on the boat.

I still want to see a sucker pool demo.

Whatever bucket of chicken you choose, make sure it's extra greasy. The grease helps reduce ice buildup on your line and the yummy, fried chicken stink calls in the big girls.

I've found you learn to appreciate the posts that actually do help more this way, though.

having a bit of experience with this venue, i would say it became a sucker debate because that is your best answer to your original question.
