Posts: 529 | Actually $1250. Hand built, designed and made in USA, patent pending. They are not for everyone, like power poles, electric down riggers, or electric planner board masts, or giant fish finder screens. Will they catch you more fish... Absolutely Paul didn't you catch a fish using one that day you fished with Todd, It was on one of your hammers?

Posts: 1202 Location: Money, PA | Yes I did Andy; and the unit is certainly built tough and just another tool that can be added to one's arsenal. Most people think it can only be used trolling, but the neat thing I found is it can also be utilized as a "jigger" while you cast, in states that allow the use of multiple rods per man of course. Its really like anything else, another method/tool to expand your versatility ultimately improving catch rates over time. If I were staying, I'd eventually own one.

Location: varies | it allows you to stuff more chips and beers into your face. Couple that with an auto reel and you have a Fibs dream.

Posts: 529 | Lumpy - 11/27/2015 10:09 AM What makes this better/more effective than pumping the rod by hand? When casting does changing speed and direction sometimes trigger strikes? Have you ever gone trolling ( it could even be for walleye) and have most of the strikes happen when the boat turns? The outside rods speed up inside slow down this will increase speed and decrease speed while keeping your current heading. Many guys jerk troll manually problem is it is hard on the body after a day of doing it. This does it for you. We are finding that the Project X rods are almost 2x more likely to be hit than any non project X rod. This was data from Hundreds of strikes.

Posts: 470 | Not being one to do much trolling (other than on the internet I guess..) I wasn't interested until I saw it jigging. Hmmm. A Bondy while casting... Even if I missed the set, it would help pattern the fish. One more thing on the wish list.. RandalB
