Noticed it get loud and rougher after about 10-12 hours of use. Found the bearing blew out on the levelwind on the brake side.


two days in and mind was smoked also.

I like the Veritas series. We have had the entire line since last fall, and I find myself reaching for them pretty regularly. Light, well balanced, plenty of oomph, and the handles fit me well. A very nice rod at a very nice price point!

I have no idea how much line. I spooled with 80# off a giant bulk spool.
