Any ideas on fishing the fox river lunching at the chain state park and going into the river to fish Muskie? Have never done this before and was thinking of trying this Saturday or Sunday. Any thoughts or tips? I'd like to get out a couple more times before putting the boat away for winter.

Ive only gone a little ways up the river from the state park. It gets very shallow and they pulled the buoys so be careful. The DNR told me when they were pulling the buoys they found some muskies sitting in the slack water behind them. So if you do go I would look for any structure and fish the slack water.
