I used to see frogs all the time-purple ones some that talk and sing but that was back in the 70s when we used to get the GOOD acid.
This past week I have seen frogs all over in the south metro on highways sidewalks bike trails moving.squished by traffic . It seems a little early but does anyone see the fall frog migration happening now??? If so it's one of the best shallow water bites of the year.

I was just out checking on my hunting land sunday and I've never seen so many frogs, they were everywhere. This was south central wisconsin though and not sure about a migration but they were out in full force.

HH, there may be a migration happening due to all the wet weather, but not the kind you're probably thinking of. The 'migration' we want as anglers occurs when the frogs collect at the shoreline just prior to going into the lakes before ice up. That's when the fish key in on them. The timing is usually in November sometime. So, I'm thinking we're a little early for that, but 'yes' there's been a lot of those little hoppers around.

Take a $1 bill. Put it on the table face up. Stare into Washington's eyes for two minutes, and try to avoid blinking. Turn the bill over. Glance to the left side of the bill. There's your green pyramid.

Yes: Migration HAS started! Heard some Croaking down in the Basement. Some really strange lookin frogs though. Some frogs had Yellow tips on their legs, some had an orange hue to them. Some just black widow black, and Yellow as well.....YES, Frogs are Here!

So I managed to score some Green Pyramid, picked up my attorney and HH and headed out in search of these frogs- but it no longer a frog migration we were experienceing it was a god d^#med bat migration.

We were somewhere around St Clound on the edge of the prarie when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the truck, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the topper open to Detroit Lakes
