How are people storing their Headlocks? #*^@ suckers are big, and I am just thinking of putting them in plastic tackle boxes, but then the hooks get all tangled, and the paint gets scratched.

In the dishwasher...lol.

The regular headlock fits like a glove in a lakewood tackle box.

I don't have one but you could always cut a piece of 2x3 or 3x4 vinyl gutters and make yourself a tackle box that way. I used an old decoy bag I had and cut 2x3s but I don't have too many monster baits. The 2x3 won't fit a pounder for example so I just used a plano box for those that doesn't have any dividers inside.

You might contact Bob at JustEncase, When I went to pick up my custom box he was working on some interesting carry box prototypes for carrying headlocks, etc.

Just Encase deck boxes. But for the bigger cranks that won't fit in those even, they go in the livewell.

I went to see Bob at Just Encase. He's got a box that fits Headlocks, both size, perfectly. It's mine now.

I have a couple prototype designs for 2016 for storing Headlocks or any other bait. I am working with Crash Mullins on both a singled sided and two sided briefcase style box. Could be all white or white and clear. The two sided box is 15" in height, the single sided box is 12". The 15" will hold 12" Headlocks. May take it to 15 1/2" to hold 14" Jakes. With the white and clear version, the white side could be to the outside to keep the contents more "stealth".

Okay, I didn't get one of those really cool ones. I'm not cool enough for those...
