Looking for recommendations for boat stereo, looking installing on in 620, anyone use the new instrument style receivers with usb and bluetooth?

Also were did you mount speakers on 620?

I use a motorcycle radio mounted to a handrail. Plenty of oomph, and 4 speakers. Inexpensive, waterproof, draws near no juice.

I use a jambox portable Bluetooth speaker! Works perfect!

I've had multiple stereos put in Rangers. Have them install a unit with all the new toys (USB, Bluetooth, and Sirius if you like that) into the area near your passenger glovebox.

Speaker placement is very important. If you have a full windshield you will need 4 speakers installed, 2 under consoles and 2 on the sides on the bow. Without a shield, you could probably get away with 2. My boat now has only 2 and I miss having 4....the issue with having 2 is that in order for it be loud enough so that the guy on the bow can hear it comfortably, the guy in the back gets all of the sound from the 2 speakers pointed at him and has trouble hearing the othe rperson talk. Keep that in mind

Clarion CMD head unit, waterproof, satellite radio, once you have that you will never go back. Get 4 Alpine Marine speakers and take it to a stereo place for install...

Work radio.
Small, has a multi-plug hardwired for phones/mp3 players, runs all day on my cordless drill battery.
Cheap, durable, mobile, and David Allen Coe sounds great through it.
What more could you want?

I'm in a similar position myself and would like to install radio (XM compatible w/ USB) and two speakers for a Ranger 681. I'd like to mount and hang the radio under the console. I can for sure handle the installation of radio and wiring. But the speaker installation is in question. Can this be a doable DIY project or is it challenging that the pros should do it? How big of hole drilling are we talking about?

In the mean time this thing is getting me through the long days of fishing and it is awesome: https://ecoxgear.com/ecoterra/

I have the same one... Works great for days with the 4ah battery... And my drill shreds through ice with a 6" auger attachment too.
