I just picked up a couple crane 206, what model and size of hooks can I upgrade to without killing the action to much. I'd experiment myself but don't have anything this small.

Thanks

I would use 1/0 vmc 8650 perma steel hook if you use 3 trebles. Personally I would only use 2 trebles size 2/0 of the same 8650 vmc hook and put 2 splitrings on the front treble.

Its saver for the fish and your hands.

I have a few that I've switched over to heavy hooks so they would stay a little deeper in the water. I think they are 3/0 4x hooks. They look a little goofy on a little bait, but it works. Sometimes it's just trial and error.
