I'm headed up there in a few weeks with some walleye fisherman but I was wondering if there was any cabbage this year in the bay if water was still high this year? And if anyone saw any fish in that area at all this year? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks geo

There were no weeds in it last week. A rare site for sure.

Wow, it's been years since I've been in Astron Bay, but when I was in there years ago it was loaded with cabbage.

Rusty crayfish get to it?

Not sure. Cray fish combined with ultra-low water in the early part of the season had the whole bay bald. I'm hoping that it comes back next year and was related to low water and not cray fish. I'll have t wait a few months to know.
