Posts: 81 | I'm fairly new to the muskie game and this forum has been a wealth of knowledge. My current rig is an NACL61 and a 7'6" TI XH rod, I'd like to add a big rubber combo (pounders) to my arsenal, the rod will be a TI XXH (undecided on length). There don't seem to be many left hand retrieve options out there, right now I'm leaning towards an Okuma Komodo 350 (KDR-364PLX)...I've also thought about the Daiwa Lexa 400, but seems like I read about some mechanical failure issues with those reels. Suggestions for other reels I should check out before making my decision would be greatly appreciated.

Call around and see if any shops might have a leftover, otherwise EBay might have something. If not that, my 401D has treated me well. My dad uses a Toro 61 NACL and hasn't had any problems.

Posts: 340 Location: Lake County Illinois | Also I just started using a Okuma Citrix 350 in a 5.4;1 gear ratio with a power handle and that seems really nice too,but haven't had enough time on it yet to review.
