Random quote: Muskies are nasty. They stink. They taste bad. They are hard to catch and will disappoint even the most devoted angler. The lures required cost more than some women's jewelry. The rods and reels require a remortgage of the house. The boat is always worth more than the tow vehicle. Sure beats the hell out of golf.

Felt like sharing a few bucktails and spinners that have been doing well for me. The perch pattern has been really hot for me. Took some of my lures out a week ago basically to see how they were running before making more and I lost one musky in the first few casts on a figure 8 and followed that up by catching what looked to be a 40+ inch pike. A lot of guys are making their own bucktails now and I'm a big believer in each one is different even though alot of them look alike, each one has its own sound and look in the water and I think that's makes a difference alot of the time.
