| What do i use in small rivers for bigger fish. Rod can handle up to 4 oumce baits. We see lots of fish above forty inches but they wont eat my bait ive tried suicks , bucktails, and surface jerks mostly. |

| From my small river records, our nicer fish were caught on:
magnum shallow raiders, magnum bull dawgs, junior double cowgirls, double cowgirls, 7.5" softail phantoms, 10" jake, magnum hawg wobbler.
You could throw all of those except the magnum bulldawg. |

Location: Maryland | Get yourself a few gliders. Hellhounds and Mantas can be work both shallow and deep. Easy to use as well. |

| Bucktail colors that have gotten a lot of attention (skirt/blades):
green/chartreuse
white/orange
white/pink
gold/gold
blue/silver
black/firetiger
Bucktail colors that haven't been followed/hit:
ones that haven't been thrown
Similarly, there hasn't been much of a pattern for "best" colors with the other baits. |

Location: Maryland | Man color all.depends on water clarity and what forage is in your river. I'm guessing. Suckers, carp, bluegills are most likely the main forage. Guess match them if it's clear water or if it's stained I have had best luck.on firetiger. Also.dont forget about all black and all white..
