Hi guys,
pretty much every year for the past 5 year i've been replacing my transducer mount for my hummingbird 787 CI. I'm guessing the black plastic mount is not tought enough for the wave at 40 mph. Is there any other alternative like metal mount that would not need to be replace every year? Or maybe my set up is not right! I've tried to manage that the transducer is flush with the hull at the back.

thanks.

Maybe try a spring back bracket from Transducer Shield and Saver. Do not overtighten the screws for the plastic bracket, they crack easily.
